Stephanie’s role on the judging panel reflects Mutatio’s broader commitment to shaping the standards of contemporary creative work.
The Annual brings together perspectives from both agency and brand-side leaders, creating a more balanced and informed evaluation process. Work is assessed on its own merit, rather than in direct competition, allowing for a fairer and more considered approach to judging.
As part of the process, shortlisted entrants receive feedback from the panel, offering valuable insight that extends beyond the awards themselves. Alongside this, a People’s Choice vote provides a second route to recognition, reflecting both expert opinion and wider industry engagement.
The 2026 jury is focused on ideas that demonstrate clarity, conviction and relevance.
Across categories, there is a clear emphasis on work that moves beyond expected solutions, ideas that are culturally aware, strategically grounded and capable of delivering real impact.
Judges are looking for:
- strong, original thinking with a clear point of view
- work that resonates within culture and engages audiences meaningfully
- creative solutions that demonstrate real business or social impact
- thoughtful and intentional use of emerging technologies, including AI
- a high level of craft, execution and attention to detail
This reflects a broader shift within the industry, where creativity is increasingly measured not just by how it looks, but by what it does and how it connects.
Categories and recognition
Annual 2026 spans more than 59 categories, covering disciplines including Advertising, AI, B2B, Low Budget, Post Production, Social Good, Graphic Design, PR and Wave.
In addition to category awards, the programme recognises outstanding individuals and organisations through honours such as Designer of the Year, Agency of the Year, Best Place to Work and Creative Leader of the Year.
This structure allows the Annual to capture the full spectrum of modern creative work, from large-scale campaigns to emerging practices and specialist disciplines.
Why it matters
For Mutatio, participation in the Creativepool Annual is about more than recognition. It is about contributing to a wider conversation around what creative excellence looks like today.
As the industry continues to evolve — shaped by new technologies, shifting cultural expectations and changing business models, the role of awards must evolve with it.
The Annual reflects this shift by focusing on visibility, accessibility and long-term value. It is not simply about celebrating finished work, but about creating momentum around it.
